Maca & Co. was founded by Chef Nicole Arroyas Bernardo in 2018. Nicole is born and raised in London Ontario. Her passion for food led her to move to France in 2000, where she studied at one France’s leading culinary schools, Institute Paul Bocuse, in Lyon. Nicole interned with chef Pascal Barbot at Astrance, a 3 star Michelin restaurant and then with Alain Ducasse another 3 star Michelin located in Paris's prestigious 5 star Plaza Athenee. After returning to Canada she passed her Red Seal Certification in Culinary.
In 2011 Nicole opened Petit Paris a small retail bakery located in the Covent Garden Market. The bakery quickly grew to service retail and wholesale customers in southwestern Ontario. Nicole's vision for delicious dessert is simple; desserts made from whole products and unmistakable flavours and of course it must taste as good as it looks! Petit Paris prides itself on quality, scratch made desserts made by an incredible team of trained pastry chefs.
Petit Paris has expanded and added The Coop Rotisserie. The Coop offers delicious brine, slow roasted hormone free chicken and serves the comforts of home!
Most recently Petit Paris has also been proud to introduce Maca & Co. an online on French artisanal Macarons. Maca & Co. ships across Canada our premium delicious macarons.
